Bass Coast walk 21 March 2026
On a mild Saturday morning 16 walkers gathered at the Kilcunda general store. Two elected to walk in both directions while the rest organised into a car shuffle heading for Punchbowl lookout. The walk of about 9km along the cliff tops was conducted in perfect walking conditions with a temperature of 20 and a slight breeze. The views are spectacular and the track well formed so a very enjoyable walk. We stopped on the beach for a bite to eat and to absorb the beauty of a pristine stretch of coastline before heading slightly inland for the second half. Arriving back in Kilcunda the cars were retrieved from the start of the walk and a well deserved coffee enjoyed at Udder and Hoe cafe.
