Another lucky ten had the experience of a second Little Gems tour of the State Library of Victoria, with the lovely and knowledgeable Felicity to show us around. The featured image above shows the refurbished domed reading room of the State Library.
After a coffee break we decamped to the Athenaeum Library, where one of the managers, Jill, gave us a tour. As academics, we have an affinity for libraries, so it was a real treat. Many thanks to our guides, and to Margi Breare for the preparation and organisation of the event.
