The 50th Year Celebratory Lunch was a success giving at least 30 members many opportunities to catch up with each other.
Marion Lustig welcomed all with two wonderful jazz pieces on her recorder. It was a wonderful way to begin the day. John Langford, as guest speaker, reflected on the early years of club activities shaped by the personality of the initial leader, Gretna Weste. Others enjoyed also adding their memories. The occasion took the opportunity to celebrate the valuable contributions of Joan Kenny, John Langford and Merilyn Liddell for their leadership. We say goodbye to Meri and Mick and wish them well as they relocate to Western Australia.
