Our Rules of Association comply with the governance requirements of an incorporated association. The Rules of Association are based upon the Model Rules for incorporated associations, as set out in the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012, and the Associations Incorporation Reform Regulations 2012. The club incorporated on 08/05/2017.
The annually elected Committee is responsible, for management of the Club. Two key documents, Instructions for Walkers, and Guidance for Walk Leaders, set out expectations for Walkers and Walk leaders respectively. This information is amplified in the document MUAB Guidance – Selecting your walks.
Our affiliation with Bushwalking Victoria provides a wealth of information and guidance. We adhere to other relevant government requirements, including the Victorian Government’s Fair Play Code., Privacy Policy, and Child Safety Policy.
MUAB is a non-smoking club.
